Jose Altuve
My favorite baseball player is 3 inches shorter than the average male height in the U.S. Yes, Jose Altuve is 5'5 and considered one of the best hitters in MLB. I find it impossible not to root for a guy like this, all his life people told him he was too small or too lean to make it to the Major Leagues. However, he played his first game at 21 years of age, and was scouted by only one guy coming out of Venezuela. For a lot of people, a challenge is nothing but something to be overcome; how can you not love Jose Altuve
